Hoverfly Academy is structured to provide high quality Type Rating Courses with his experienced Instructors that include:
• Ground theoretical courses (in- presence or CBT)
• Practical flight courses that include the use of real helicopters and appropriate FSTD to improve the pilot skill to manage the real emergency correctly.

Hoverfly hold agreement with the major FSTD providers across the globe to give the best solution for the customers need. FSTD are Full Flight Motion approved and certified by the authority EASA and are located in Italy, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, UAE, USA and Malaysia.
Due to the high demand for “ab initio” flight courses Hoverfly has developed an agreement with an approved training organization to support his activity in the meantime to receive the EASA certificate for the own courses.
In any case the PPL(H), CPL(H), ATPL (H) meet the EASA FCL requirements or higher.
Qualified Ground Instructors, well maintained helicopters, experienced Flight Instructors are at your disposal to prepare you to fly safe and professional whether you want to fly for pleasure or for compensation.

Hoverfly Academy is based beside LIRI (Salerno – Pontecagnano) airport tat allow us to perform IR training avoiding long waits that we usually find in most commercial airports. VOR, NDB, ILS, R-NAV and PBN are available in the area and in the nearest airports.
The Academy provide training for all the extended Type Rating IR courses by AS355, AS365/EC155, Bell212/412, AW109 and AW139 helicopters. For each helicopter there is the availability of the respective EASA approved FSTD (Full Flight Simulator) with experienced and well qualified Flight Instructors.
Note: (*) waiting for EASA own certification issue, in the meantime the courses are supported by an approved training organization in cooperation with Hoverfly.
